In need of a quick snack / appetizer for a party? These quick and easy Air Fryer Cheese Sticks are fast, crispy and taste great dipped in the included marinara sauce. They go great with Air Fryer Pizza Rolls as well if you are in the mood for a few tasty snacks.
How to Make Air Fryer Cheese Sticks
For this particular recipe, we’re using the frozen cheese sticks that have jalapeño in them so when you are looking at the pictures, that’s what the green stuff is, mixed in with the cheese.
If required, preheat your Air Fryer to 375°F.
Place the frozen cheese sticks in the air fryer basket / or on the air fryer tray (depends on your air fryer). Make sure they are evenly spaced to allow for everything to cook thoroughly.
Insert the tray or basket into the air fryer and cook at 375°F for about 6-7 minutes.
Remove and place on a plate with the included marinara sauce for dipping.
Why use the Air Fryer instead of the Oven or Microwave?
The air fryer is a better option than your oven and microwave for a number of reasons; when it comes to cooking in the oven, it will take far longer for your oven to reach the correct temperature to cook the cheese sticks, which leads to your house heating up and the use of far more electricity than a simple air fryer. Furthermore, the air fryer does a much better job at crisping them up.
When it comes to the microwave, it’s not even a fair fight! The microwave makes them soggy and unpleasant and the air fryer is far and above the better option when it comes to enjoying the food and having it taste the way it was intended.
