Delicious and easy homemade beef hamburgers that are made in your airfryer! The air fryer gives these burgers a slightly crisp outside with a tender, juicy inside!
Place the ground beef, shredded cheese, egg, onion powder and bacon into a medium-sized bowl.
Gently work the mixture together with your hands, trying not to overwork the mixture or heat it with your hands. Cold hands are best!
Form two evenly sized logs with the beef mixture and then cut each in half. Take these halves and form into loose balls.
In a small tupperware container or something similarly sized, put one ball of ground beef. Using a potato masher, press down to form the beef to the patty sized container (again, do so loosely).
Start the air fryer at 370 °F for approximately 12 minutes. When complete, flip the patties and cook for another 12 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Remove, add to bun, add toppings of choice and enjoy!
All air fryers are a bit different, yours may require you to cook for more or less time than we specify so be sure to keep an eye on your burger every 5 minutes or so to see how it's progressing. If 12 minutes per side isn't enough, give it another 2 minutes until you reach the right temperature. As long as you make sure it reaches the minimum safe cooking temperature of 165°F you are good to go!
Temperatures and cook times may vary based on appliance type / brand. Always test with a small amount first to ensure nothing is over or undercooked.
